9. We had plenty of Walleye when we pre-fished for them but on Saturday they did not cooperate as well. Was it due to the water temperature drop? I doubt it as this does not normally effect the Walleye as much as bass. Was it because of the excessive boat pressure? Quite possibly but that is something we can’t control.
10. Thanks to those of you who came out to see us at the BPS Spring Classic. I will be at the Bass Pro Shops Spring Classic as follows: 2/26 from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
2/28 from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
3/6 from 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
3/7 from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
11. Now would be a great time to book a Smallmouth Trip if you are looking to land big fish. The fish are coming out of the winter blues and as the water continues to warm there metabolism will increase.
12. I hope to see you at the BPS Spring Classic.
HAVE A GREAT WEEK AND LUV THE TUG………REB

Regional Fishing Update from Lance Dunham...

Sure, it's a little chilly at times, and we're not catching big numbers in the cold water of 37 to 38 degrees, but if you're dressed right, we are catching some big fish and it's great to be back on the water after a long cold winter. These photos were from February 28th and March 5th. The bass are biting now if you know where to go and what to do. In a week it will be great!
Just a shameless reminder that I have a 6hr "cold water" charter for $155.00 up to two anglers until April 10th. I have a few days left on the "Open Dates" calender on my website at www.ldguideservice.com
Good Fishing!

Susquehanna River Fishing Report For Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

March 3, 2010 Susquehanna River Fly and Spin Fishing Trip Report:
Today's angler from North Carolina had a chance to boat a couple decent fish ranging from 14"-17", as well as a couple walleye which eluded us, but were lipping our baits leaving behind their toothy impressions. Other anglers reported no fish or much of the same, slow fishing and a quick biting period then shutting off. Some days you get the fish and some days the fish get you. Thats Fishing! With warming temps coming over the weekend, fishing should improve and yeild higher numbers of fish. We'll be out over the weekend taking advantage of the warmer temps. Check back with us for more fishing reports! Tight Lines everyone-------<*)}}}}}><

Kayak Kevin's "Kayak Fishing the Chesapeake Bay" DVD
This past week "Kayak Kevin" Whitley and his band of hard-core kayak fishing brethren released their newest project, Kayak Fishing the Chesapeake Bay, on DVD. Immediately upon getting the package I noticed the professional production of the video. Not only is the video well packaged, it is also an outstanding resource for anyone fishing the tidal Chesapeake Bay, or anyone simply having an interest in kayak fishing. While Kevin is a close friend and an Ocean Kayak teammate, my extremely positive review of this video is not influenced by any biases. This is truly a well edited and produced piece of work. It highlights the popular species which regular the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel complex, and Virginia's Eastern Shore. It will do wonders for introducing those around the region to the potential for kayak fishing. The videography models itself from that of modern extreme sport videos, and contains a musical score of metal and guitar feedback bleeps which inspires the viewer to hit the water.
This video will surely become a mainstay for anglers of the lower Chesapeake Bay and kayak fishing. Well done!
