The Susquehanna River is fishing the way it normally does for this time of year with slightly lower numbers and water levels are inching down with crystal clear water in alot of areas. It is a good time to sling some string for cruising smallies and top water action at times. Carp on fly is in full swing with some monsters being caught. When your presentation is acceptable to them and you do everything right its Fish On!

Give us a call to get in on the action and to enjoy beautiful mornings, days, or evenings on the Susky with Us! Tight Lines!-----<*)}}}}}}><

Richmond Fishing Expo Lands a New Home...

One of the fastest growing fishing shows on the east coast finds a new home for 2011. The new State Fairgrounds of Virginia will play host to this years Richmond Fishing Expo in the brand new Farm Bureau Meadow Event Park facility in Doswell, Va. just 18 miles north of Richmond. Besides being a state of the art 65,000 sq. ft. facility, the Meadow Event Park offers convenience for all anglers traveling up & down I-95. Situated 1 mile off exit 98 on I-95 the Meadow Event Park has acres of free parking right in front of the facility and a “See it all under one roof” opportunity. The perfect no hassle place to get ready for the fishing season.

The Richmond Fishing Expo has positioned itself as the place to meet the current touring professionals and have an opportunity for them to share their secrets that’s allowed them to do what all of us strive for…..”Fish for a living”. This year's event is no different. Two of the legends in this industry Denny Brauer & Woo Daves come together for all three days with one idea in mind….. Helping you catch limits every time. Denny a 16 time B.A.S.S tournament champion including the 1998 Classic is one of an elite group having held both the B.A.S.S. AOY & FLW AOY title during his career. Woo Daves a Virginia native and 2010 Bass Fishing Hall of Fame inductee has fished the Classic 17 times with 6 top five finishes including a win in 2000. Along with these guys will be regional & local pros that help put you on the fish by giving you insight on all the local waters in and around Virginia. Bass Tubs, trout tanks, fishing simulators, charter captains, fishing supplies by the Tractor trailer load, will make this an event you will not want to miss. The Richmond Fishing Expo, January 21-23, 2011. Meadow Event Park I-95 exit 98 in Doswell.

An affordable sunglass option...

"Why should I pay hundreds of dollars for high performance polarized sunglasses?"

We wondered too, and the idea for Ocean Eyes was born.

We pride ourselves with frames that are always up to date, while also maintaining a few timeless clasic designs. Polarized lenses reduce glare, but not brightness, allowing better transition of light for better visual acuity.

Once you discover the benefits of polarization, you will never want to go back to non-polarized sunglasees. The sky looks bluer, the water more transparent, and the road is more comfortably seen while driving.

Ocean Eyes sunglasses are designed for families and individuals who enjoy active outdoor lifestyles.
