Hi Gang,
The river was at 4.3 with 21,500CF of flow and 35 degrees at the beginning of the week and at the end of the week we had 4.1 with 17,000CF of flow and 44 degrees. The BP was 30.30 and falling.
1. Trip #1 – Guide Scouting Trip - This was on Saturday and we fished from 11:00AM – 5:00 PM and we and we boated 22 Smallmouth. The largest was 19.5” and we had 3 over 18”. We caught them on hair jigs, grubs and stickbaits. We had 4.1 – Steady – Clear – 17,000CF and 44 degrees. It was sunny, cold and breezy with a BP of 30.30 and Falling.
2. Trip #2 – No Trip
3. Trip #3 – No Trip
4. Trip #4 – No Trip
5. Trip #5 – No Trip
6. Trip #7 – No Trip
7. Thanks to those of you who came out to see us at the ESOS. I know the weather was bad and we did not get to see many of you. I will be at the Bass Pro Shops Spring Classic as follows:
2/26 from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
2/28 from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
3/6 from 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
3/7 from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Kevin VanDam will be there on Saturday 2/27 in the PM
8. I did send out one tournament schedule so if you want to fish one of these tournaments with us please let us know ASAP. The price will depend on the cost of the entry fee. Any prize money will be split 50/50 between you and our guide. This will entitle you to a couple hours of pre-fishing with us providing you can do it on our Guides schedule. Get your request in early as the tournament dates are limited.
9. Now would be a great time to book a Smallmouth Trip if you are looking to land big fish. The fish are not pressured and they are coming out of the winter blues and as the water continues to warm there metabolism will increase.
10. I hope to see you at the BPS Spring Classic.
HAVE A GREAT WEEK AND LUV THE TUG………REB
